Your journey to Serfaus

Our Apartments at Matinesweg enjoy a beautiful panoramic location right in the village of Serfaus. The quiet setting and stunning mountain views create a unique sense of relaxation – the perfect start to your holiday in Tyrol.

Serfaus is located on the Tyrolean Sun Plateau, about 1,400 metres above sea level, and can be reached easily by car, train or plane.

Arrival by car

  • From eastern Austria: Via the Inntal motorway through Salzburg – Rosenheim – Innsbruck to Serfaus.
  • From western Austria and Switzerland / Zurich: Take the Rheintal motorway, then continue through the Arlberg tunnel or over the Arlberg pass to Landeck – and onwards to Serfaus.
  • From Germany, Belgium or the Netherlands: Travel towards Munich via Garmisch – Fernpass – Imst – Ried – Serfaus. This route is toll-free via the Fernpass and from Imst to Landeck, before continuing on to Serfaus.

Arrival by train

  • Travel comfortably to Landeck-Zams railway station
  • From there, continue by bus (approx. 1 hour) or by taxi to Serfaus (approx. 40 minutes).
  • We are happy to help you arrange a transfer if required.

Arrival by plane

The nearest airports are:

  • Innsbruck (approx. 100 km)
  • Zurich (approx. 250 km)
  • Munich (approx. 250 km)
  • From all airports, you can continue your journey to Serfaus by train & bus, rental car or taxi.

How to find us in Serfaus

At the entrance to Serfaus, follow Dorfbahnstraße for approx. 300 m. At the first major crossroads (Dorfbahnstraße / Untere Dorfstraße), turn left. Continue along Untere Dorfstraße, turn left after Hotel Löwen, then turn left again after Haus Oberacher into Untergasse. Follow the street for about 20 m – our house is located on the right-hand side.
