Data storage
To process bookings made via our website, certain personal data (name, address, contact details, IP address, booking information) will be processed when you start or complete the online booking process. This processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without this data, we are unable to process your booking.
Data will only be passed on to:
- the channel manager / booking system
- our property management system (easybooking)
- the local registration authority (legal obligation)
- our tax adviser (statutory accounting obligations)
If you cancel the online booking process, any stored data will be deleted.
In the case of a completed booking, the data will be stored in accordance with the statutory retention periods.
